COENZYME Q10
This is a vitamin-like substance found in human tissue in all parts of the body. Its antioxidant qualities mimic, and equal or surpass, those of vitamin E. Coenzyme Q10 plays a critical role in the production of energy in every cell, aids circulation and mental functioning, increases tissue oxygenation, has vital anti-aging effects, stimulates the immune system and assists in weight loss. It has shown to be beneficial in treating cancer, AIDS, gastric ulcers, myopathy (muscle diseases), MS, candidiasis, cardiovascular disease, deafness and diabetes. Coenzyme Q10 has the ability to counteract histamines and is beneficial for people who suffer from allergies, asthma, or respiratory disease. It has also been shown to lower blood pressure without additional changes to diet or with any additional medications. Some doctors give their patients Coenzyme Q10 to reduce the side effects of cancer chemotherapy. The amount of Coenzyme Q10 in your body declines with age. Soft-gel capsule supplements in darker bottles are best (to prevent deterioration of the product). Look for products that contain a small amount of Vitamin E as this helps to preserve the Coenzyme Q10 too.

FACTS ABOUT COENZYMES
Coenzymes are small organic non-protein molecules that carry chemical groups between enzymes and do not form permanent parts of the enzyme. They also reduce, neutralize and prevent the damage done to the body by free radicals such as deterioration of bone, joints and connective tissues, deterioration of organs, immune system decline, and some of the typical effects of aging.
