Please verify your shipping and billing address information with each online order. Nutter’s Bulk and Natural Foods will not be held liable for any shipping charges due to an incorrect mailing address. Packages returned to us due to an incorrect mailing address may be subject to an additional return shipping fee, as well as a 25% restocking fee.
Complete orders will be shipped promptly. If an item is on backorder, your order will be held until all items are in stock. If we anticipate that some items will take longer than 2-3 weeks to arrive, we may ship the order separately.
Shipping within Canada
Our Canadian orders are shipped through Canada Post. Minimum charge for shipping & handling in Canada is the greater of $12.00 or 12% of your subtotal. To avoid delays in shipping, you can see your shipping charges during checkout, before submitting your order.
Shipping to the U.S.
We do not ship outside of Canada.
When you place an order online, you may choose to have the order shipped or select ‘local pick-up’ and pick-up the order at our store. Please allow time for us to pull the order, especially during our busy seasons as this may take a day or two. If an item is on backorder, we will wait for it to arrive and call or email you when the order is ready for pick-up. We do require that the order is picked up within 21 days of the notification that your order is ready for pickup. If your order is not picked up within 21 days, and we have not heard from you, we will ship the order to you and you will be responsible for all shipping charges.
Verification upon Pickup
We welcome you to pick-up any items placed online at our store, but Nutter’s Bulk and Natural Foods will require some information when picking up any orders – NO EXCEPTIONS! Please note that only the person whose name is on the confirmation email can pick up the order at the store, unless we have been notified in advance. We care about protecting our customers’ information, and to ensure our customers are protected, the following information will be required and must be present at the time of pickup:
– copy of Nutter’s Bulk and Natural Foods confirmation email
– photo id
Shipping to Remote Areas within Canada
Some postal codes in Canada are considered to be a remote area and may require a higher shipping amount. We will contact you should this apply to your order and all additional shipping charges will be processed once you have approved the additional shipping amount.
We will do our best to help expedite your order to the best of our ability. However, with thousands of potential products available to be ordered on our website, there will be instances when we do not have an item in stock that you ordered. To serve you better, we may be able to “split ship” your order by shipping some of your order that we have in stock, followed by any backorder items, if we expect them to arrive after 2-3 weeks of your initial order. There may be additional shipping charges for split shipments. If our suppliers’ warehouses are also out of stock and we anticipate further delays, we will contact you should this exceed a 2-3 weeks’ timeframe.
Backorders & Special Orders
Please note that items ordered together, may not ship together. For items on backorder or special ordered items, you will be notified by phone or email about any extended delays in shipping.
Damage during Shipment
If a package has been delivered to you and the box is visibly damaged, please refuse the delivery. This should be noted immediately to the delivery driver at the time of delivery. If you have already accepted the delivery and then find the shipping damage, please call us immediately. Save the box, original packing material and paperwork that accompanied your shipment, please do not throw anything away! Failure to do so may affect your credit for the return and may also exclude any replacements.
Heavy, Bulk or Oversized Products
Some items on our website may be heavy, bulky or oversized depending on quantity ordered. Additional shipping charges may apply. You will be contacted with a shipping quote before the order is shipped, but you can expect an additional 10-15% to be applied onto your subtotal. Any additional freight charges will then be charged to your credit card before the order leaves our warehouse.
If you require faster shipping services, please contact us and we will do our best to work with you. Express shipping will incur higher shipping charges.
